A few thoughts……

• Don't forget our second annual Novice Day and Mock Show this Saturday June 16th!! This is a fun day and you don't even have to bring a donkey. You can play with one of the many seasoned donkeys that will be there or bring your novice donkey and play with him/her. We would also urge you to bring your youth, they will love this day. • 2013 TDA donkey calendar is at the printers, YEAH! Start taking orders because the person who sells the most calendars will get the cover photo on the 2014 calendar! 
• Show people, please don't forget to sign your donkeys up for the 2012 show awards. Remember you have to be signed up before you show for that show to count. For more info: http://www.tennessee-donkeys.com/HighPointAwards.html 
• Our thoughts and prayers go out to Kenny and Sherry Puckett. Kenny has been diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma complicated by heart disease. They have a long fight ahead of them and we wish them all the best.
  

White Feather

Good bye ,White Feather ! Saying good bye to a good friend is never easy. Wee Ones White Feather has been my companion since his birth. He is a frosted spotted gelding and my first cart and performance miniature donkey. Feather has been everywhere. parades, parties, shows, expo's, clinics, trail rides and has won many show titles and ribbons. We have spent many hours just driving around the neighborhood as the kids come running out for a ride. One neighbor (10 years old ) would come over to the farm and hitch Feather up and take him for a ride all by herself. He has been shown by many handlers. What an amazing donkey.

Feather is the reason people fall in love with miniature donkeys. Today the story will go on for even more events and new relationships as Feather travels to the Netherlands. Feather along with his special made doctors buggy and pink saddle will be touring Europe with Tina Fisseler and her award winning miniature horses. I am so proud to allow Wee Ones White Feather to be an ambassador in Europe. He has already been awarded his Ambassador of the Breed award here in the United States. I love this donkey, but I also know that he has lots to share with the many people that will now know what a blessing miniature donkeys are. Tina will keep us updated as Wee Ones White Feather makes his way in the Netherlands. Blessings to all !!
